By using RuralRTK.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Services

We provide GPS RTK correction services, including subscription access and free trials offered at our discretion. Free trials are limited to one per customer and may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at our discretion.

Separate agreements will apply to equipment hosting or revenue-sharing partnerships.

 

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the site and services lawfully, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service in violation of laws relating to navigation, aviation, or surveying.

 

3. Service Limits

RuralRTK strives to provide high precision and reliable service. However, the corrections and data are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will achieve specific levels of accuracy, reliability, or availability, and positioning accuracy may vary depending on conditions.
Actual performance depends on factors outside our control, including satellite geometry, base station coverage, distance from base, obstructions, atmospheric conditions, the quality of customer hardware, and the availability of third-party networks such as GEODNET, internet service providers, and mobile carriers.
You are solely responsible for verifying the suitability of the service for your intended use.
The RuralRTK service is not designed or intended for safety-critical or life-critical applications. The user remains solely responsible for validating the suitability of the service for their specific use case.
RuralRTK relies in part on third-party infrastructure and services. RuralRTK is not responsible for service interruptions or performance issues caused by third-party providers or external factors beyond its reasonable control.
RuralRTK provides data access services only and does not provide professional surveying, engineering, or navigation advice.

 

4. Payments and Currency

All fees are charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD). If you pay using another currency through PayPal or your credit card provider, conversion rates and fees are determined by the payment processor. RuralRTK is not responsible for differences due to exchange rates or fees.

All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your account or by contacting us.

 

5. Intellectual Property

All content on RuralRTK.com (text, graphics, logos) belongs to Rural RTK and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

 

6. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RuralRTK disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or reliability of the service.

RuralRTK is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our site or services.

Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription period directly affected by the issue.

We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, strikes, internet outages, or regulatory actions.

 

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Québec. Any disputes must be brought before the courts of Québec, Canada.

 

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date.
