About RuralRTK

Reliable by design. Affordable by community.

I’ve spent my career asking one simple question:
Does this technology actually improve the way people work, or just the vendor’s bottom line?

RTK should pass that test every day. Crews need centimeter-level accuracy to work smarter, optimize equipment and land use, and save time. But for years, the barriers were always the same: spotty coverage, expensive infrastructure and subscription models for the rural regions.

I know this problem firsthand. I grew up in a rural community and worked on a family farm. Most solutions failed not because people resisted change, but because the offer didn’t fit the work or the cost didn’t match the benefits.

That’s why discovering GEODNET’s decentralized model was a turning point. Think of it as a modern GPS co-op: communities grow their own reliable coverage instead of relying on costly centralized providers. Everyone shares the benefits, without each farmer, surveyor, or contractor bankrolling a tower.

I launched RuralRTK to make high-precision GPS practical, affordable, and available outside big cities.

How we operate

  • Truth before transaction. We lead with coverage. If you’re in range, you start with a free trial. If not, we help you add a base with clear guidance so you don’t waste time or money.

  • Fair, simple, flexible. Choose your path: manage your own base, or let us handle the complexity. Either way, you benefit from reliable coverage and a fair return.

  • Open and compatible. Most equipment that speaks NTRIP or RTCM 3.x works with RuralRTK. Try it free, no strings attached.

  • Bilingual, Canada-based, global mindset. Support in French and English, built from rural roots but proven through international experience in critical infrastructure.

We won’t oversell coverage, push hardware you don’t need, or promise fixed rewards. What we will do is set expectations clearly and help you meet them.

Reliable. Available. Affordable. Built to fit the way you actually work.
